My group and I decided that as our production company name was 'House of Shadows' and that our logo would incorporate something to do with shadows and houses in order to make it cohesive. We then decided that we should make our own shadow puppet for the logo of the notorious vampire 'Nosferatu' which helped our production company name link in with the theme of horror a lot more, it also added our own stamp on it and made it innovative.
We researched some images as a group on the internet of haunted houses and the scary characters. Once we had seen a few designs, we realised that we wanted to make it 3D and have it moving in order to intensify the horror theme. We then spoke to our design technology teacher and requested for the 3D house to be cut on the laser cutter machine.
Below is the process
We then submitted the final designed product and allowed the laser cutter to do its job. We chose a black acrylic plastic to use as it would be the best for casting shadows.
We will then go to our recording studio and film our company logo wchich will take up 5-10 seconds of our trailer.
