Audience Research + Findings 2

Above I have gathered the opinions of a few people within my target audience to find out their over all opinion on horror films and what aspects are important in making the audience scared and feeling uneasy. Things such as sound (eerie/creepy) was found to be important in building tension within the audience to intensify their fear, also paranormal aspects are a bonus. Many of them mentioned jump scares which will be incorporated in my trailer in order to excite my audience and lure them into watching the film. Lastly, the involvement of children and the possession of children is something that if effective in the story of a horror film as it plays on their innocence.
