MAGAZINE - Shot taken/mise-en-scene

Here are the final shots taken for our magazine front cover, our aim was to get a medium close up of our villain as we found in our research on real media text that the villain is always the main aspect and feature of horror magazine front covers. Our mise-en-scene included Christmas lights acting as a halo - symbolising the crown of thorns that Jesus had to wear on the cross. Having these representations helped to tie in religious and Christmas aspect with out trailer. it also linked in with our poster and trailer as the Christmas lights are distinctively seen within all of these aspects.
